It being a Learning, Teaching and Training Activity, FA Magdeburg will not be the only partner to host activities during this week, therefore, on the first day, the Turkish partner – Erdemit Mesleki Ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi will host an interactive game that is meant to measure and evaluate the Creativity level of participants, right after a short introduction on creativity and creative teaching skills provided by the German partner. In order to discover the city, the participants will then visit – Die Grüne Zitadelle von Magdeburg, Magdeburger Dom.

For the second day, Ralf Sachsenmaier and Sven Brinkmann will share various Web 2.0 tools for creativity in VET, with a focus on the platform Miro – the online collaborative whiteboard. After discovering the different templates and ways to use Miro, participants will work together on finding ways to implement the platform into their further training or teaching activities, with a focus on encouraging creativity in the classroom.

The third day will be a site visit to Berlin, where creativity played a big role on the development of the city and its tourism. Andreas Sachsenmaier will be our guide and will help us discover good practice examples of creative industries, through innovative exhibitions and projects. The participants will be able to see projects from the Creative ldeas – competition for site-specific artistic projects “ART in URBAN SPACE at Karl-Marx-Allee”: Sven Kalden: LINA BRAAKE BANK – Art interventions between housing and money system, Joachim Blank, Karl Heinz Jeron, Sakrowski: Simultaneity – Augmented Reality for site specific interventions. These projects can expand the participants point of view when it comes to using creativity in urban projects and in improving the city and the quality of life.

Another exhibition that we will visit in Berlin is called “Berl-Berl”, by the Danish artist Jakob Kudsk Steensen – an exhibition where the techno club scene meets the art scene. This is set up in one of the most famous clubs in the world – Berghain and it showcases how creativity and art can revive a business that has been highly affected by the pandemic.

Berlin is a city of creativity, and just by wandering around the city, the participants will be able to get a taste of how the city promotes self-expression through art, such as RAW – GelSnde, Revaler StraBe, Friedrichshain – a creative hotspot for the creative scene in Berlin.

For the fourth day, the Italian partner – CPA di Giussepina Bomba will organize a treasure hunt focusing on Creative problems solving methodology, that will take place around the city of Magdeburg. Shortly after, the participants will have a tour and visit the Elbauenpark and Millennium tower for more insights on the importance of creativity in evolution and industries.

The final day of activities is set to take place in Wolfsburg, at the Autostadt, where participants will be able to discover more good practices in the local area regarding innovations of VET providers and the creative industry sector. With a guided tour, we will wander around the different buildings that Autostadt has to offer and will learn more about evolution and creativity in the technological industries. This being the final day, we will also have a meeting at the Autostadt to discuss and plan our next meetings and activities to make sure that we are on track with the CreatiVET project.

We are all looking forward to meeting each other and learn more about creativity and creative industries in Magdeburg, Germany!
